Refund policy

Auto SA Art — Return & Refund Policy Effective Date: 6 April 2026

1. Our Commitment At Auto SA Art, we take pride in the quality of every product we sell. This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) No. 68 of 2008 of South Africa.

2. Your Rights Under the CPA In terms of Section 56 of the CPA, all products carry an implied warranty of quality for 6 months from the date of delivery. If a product is found to be defective, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund. The choice of remedy lies with Auto SA Art on the first instance.

3. Return Eligibility You may return your product within 10 business days of delivery if: the product is defective or damaged upon arrival; the product is not as described on our website; or the product is missing components.

4. Non-Returnable Items The following cannot be returned: customised or personalised products (Section 17(2)(b) of the CPA); products showing signs of misuse, accidental damage, or improper installation; products returned without original packaging.

5. How to Initiate a Return Contact Auto SA Art within 10 business days of receiving your order with your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos. We will respond within 2 business days. Do not return items without prior authorisation.

6. Return Shipping If the return is due to a defect or our error, Auto SA Art will cover return shipping. If due to change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

7. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item via the original payment method. Auto SA Art reserves the right to inspect the product before issuing a refund.

8. Cooling-Off Period In terms of Section 16 of the CPA, online purchases may be cancelled within 5 business days of delivery without penalty, provided the product is unused and in its original condition.

9. Exclusions & Limitations Auto SA Art is not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear, nor for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Disputes Unresolved disputes may be referred to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at www.thencc.org.za or 0860 266 786.
